Group Work During The Great Depression, many poeple lost their jobs and a lot of their money. Jobs were also hard to find during this time. So, people had to work many jobs at a time so they would be able to earn enough money for themselves and their family. Based on the interviews, Many of these people fit the descriptions of what I said. For example, Sherman Dolman was a blacksmith and a painter. He worked those jobs so he would be able to earn enough money. Some poeple were lucky enough to earn enough money and live well during the depression, but most people had to suffer. All of the people that were interviewed don't have much money. They are all hard working people who work hard every single day just to get a small sum of money to live. Some of the people who really show what im talking about are, Mrs. Marie, Mr. Garavelli, Alic Caudle. Mr. Garavelli is a stonecutter and he works hard, many stone cutters die from silica His job is dangerous and tough but he must work every day to make enough money to live. Another hard worker was Mrs. Marie, she was a maid and a nurse she had multiple duties to do and she worked hard at doing them. Almost everybody works even children. During the great depression it was hard to live because you were only paid a few coins if that. Any money you made probably went to buying food.
